Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies,....Gone with the Wind, Wizard of Oz.

Favorite books....anything written by David Hawkins....the best of his is "Power Versus Force"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have two favorite nature stories...both took place in Australia. The first was when I went on a vacation to Hamilton Island...I was fishing with a guide and caught an 8 inch fish that the guide took off the hook and threw into the water....where it floated an inch below the surface half dead. The guide wolf whistled to an eagle that was watching from a tree about 500 meters away. The Eagle swooped down from his perch with a wing span of about 5 meters about 10 meters away from our boat to scoop up the fish. Amazing!

The next story was when I was in Launceston at a park, and it was peacock mating season...and plenty of peacocks strutting around. A female peacock was standing about 5 meters away from us at the ice cream stand we were eating at.....she was pecking at something on the ground. A male peacock strutted over to her within a meter of her and spread his flume and shook his feathers violently for a minute trying to impress her. She casually looked over her shoulder at him and then resumed pecking....hahaha. The male gathered his feathers together and slunk off, his ego (temorarily) shattered. Hopefully he slept it off and will back at the next day.
