ABOUT ME

Like a lot of you, I love to travel. As I've gotten older, I've travelled less and this is sad. One of the best things I've done in life is to study abroad and do a foreign exchange program. I'm forcing my kids to study abroad - they'll be better for it. Life is too short to just go through the motions.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is like the Nike commercial - "just do it." Whatever it is, try and try again. People that never make mistakes, never live. Having a sense of humor is important to me. If I make my wife laugh, I've done my job. If I clean the dishes, she's estatic. ha ha

Just beginning to participate; will update as I get more involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very new to couchsurfing; have not yet had the opportunity to host or to couchsurf. I am hoping in the near future to change that - would like to be the hostee as well as be the couchsurfer.

Interests

I'm interested in honor, code, loyalty - just kidding, I just finished watching the movie, "A Few Good Men" and this popped into my head. I'm interested in people and ping-pong and not necessarily in that order. Seriously though, I have a lot of different interests and hobbies - will bore you with the details if we ever meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all movies; well almost all movies - "chick flicks" don't do a thing for me and I'm not much into anime. As for music, rock and roll. Regarding books, still trying to finish the Harry Potter series that I started in the 1990s. Hope springs eternal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a two-headed cow at the State Fair, but I don't think it was real. I've seen it snow in the Grand Canyon in Arizona and I've kissed the most beautiful woman in the world - my wife.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you what to say to a police officer after you've had too much to drink. I can show you how to speak French like a six year old, and we can toast to today.
