to meet people who are open minded, tolerant, interesting, and....nice!
rencontrer des gens curieux, ouvert, tolerant, et surtout...sympas!
We are originally city boys who have found a quieter life in the beautiful Dordogne. We moved to Paris in the summer of 2015 to be with family and friends, but recently started house sitting for a long period of time in a large house near the town of Monsec in Dordogne.
Some of our favorite things to do are: having a nice dinner with friends, cooking, gardening (Mark), baking and Krav Maga (Troy), hiking, drinking wine, and relaxing together. We've been together 22 years, and got married in 2014 in San Francisco.
We are curious about other people and places, and hosted many couch surfers in our apartment in San Francisco. Where we live now it is very quiet, but there are a lot of fun things going on....markets, vides greniers (flea markets), hiking, canoeing, great people and food, cuckoo birds singing all day long, and just relaxing. Périgueux is about 30 minutes away, which is full of cafés, markets and medieval architecture. Angoulême has the closest TGV station is about 40 minutes away.
