About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Impossible.

ABOUT ME

I consider myself a very nice, approachable and forthcoming person. I'm generally open-hearted, respectful, honest, geeky, outgoing and pretty funny - mostly in a kind of dry and self-deprecating fashion. I enjoy philosophising about things and deep conversations, ludicrous and nonsensical conversations just as much. I'm a very courteous person and would go to any lengths for those who are near and dear to me. I may appear reserved and shy at first, but as soon as I'm comfortable and the time and situation is ripe you can also expect some really crazy shit! ;) ...And I enjoy buying rounds of drinks!! Which renders everything I said before inconsequential I guess... ;) Also: I hate filling out these type of descriptions!!

PHILOSOPHY

Try not to take yourself to serious. Also be respectful and all that other important stuff... ;)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For hosting I like requests with a personal touch, and I like to know that my profile is being "thoroughly studied"...you know...since there's so much "quality information" about me written in here. ;)

Interests

Music, playing basketball, doing all kinds of other sports, working out like crazy, playing piano (rusty as hell right now though), audio & video stuff, producing songs, video games, creating things, destroying my liver, etc. -------- As a sociable person who really enjoys several types of sports, getting together with friends for any non-competetive, just for fun sport-activity is super great and super fun! :) I have a strong affinity for Media-centric things that are Audio/Video related, which is why I'm very much into the creative side of Music, Filming, Photography, etc. I generally have a soft spot for artistic endeavours, video games, stupid ideas and alcohol!

Music, Movies & Books

music: Generally Soundtracks/Film-Music; Parov Stelar, Royksopp, Muse, Caravan Palace, IAMX, Classical Music: Beethoven, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Saint Saens, Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt, etc. film: Tiger&Dragon, Gattaca, Princess Mononoke, Star Wars, Fifth Element, !!!Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!, Game of Thrones, Firefly, Neon Genesis Evangelion etc.; generally cute animated film from pixaar &co. :) books: lots of fantasy/scifi stuff; big Harry Potter fan :) video games: list would become waay to long.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I would like to tell that I have been all around the world, and seen the most awe-inspiring things mankind has to offer: Places of immense cultural significance, jaw-dropping landscapes, monuments of tremendous historical value, architecture of colossal proportions... I would also terribly much like to tell of heroic exploits - like wrestling with an aligator, basejumping, saving children from burning buildings while wearing nothing but a toga, finishing a research paper, etc. etc... but alas, I really haven't seen or done any of those things, probably because my standarts are really low: I just want to see people looking good while getting classy drunk!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a horrible cook since I mostly live off instant food, but I can make terrific pancakes with chocolate-filling, so that has to count for something! Theoretically I could give Piano lessons for beginners with no experience whatsoever; know a bit about filming/video editing/photo manipulation and always want to learn more;
