About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world!
ABOUT ME
I'm an aspiring writer who recently moved to Korea. I lived the last few years in Ireland and left this past spring to explore Asia. I spent a year studying in Montpellier, France, where my French barely improved but I got bit by the travel bug. I worked in a cafe in Ireland for a few years and totally fell in love with the place. Hopefully I'll find my way back there someday after my novel hits it big and I become super famous, but for now I'm teaching English in a lovely seaside city in South Korea.
PHILOSOPHY
Say yes whenever you can, always make time, share everything you have, always eat dessert
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been a sporadic CSer (hosting/surfing) for the past few years but I've always had great experiences. I'm hoping to get more involved and meet some new and interesting people through hosting CSers. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am still very new to CSing, but every experience I've had so far has been very positive. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
The last few books I read and loved: Shadow of the Wind, The Motorcycle Diaries, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Swamplandia, Persuasion, A Discovery of Strangers. I adore recommendations and will try reading anything. Actually, I used to work in a library and got fired for reading too much on the job.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The view of Ireland from the top of Carrauntoohil, the Virginia mountains from the Appalachian trail, surfing off the Dingle peninsula, hitchhiking through the Alps...I love going for a mad hike or swim or run and enjoying the peace when you reach the end--getting outside is the best way to see the most wonderful beauty in the world.
