rock the casbah
Most of all I like diversity, British humour, good wine and irony. Bike riding forever! I enjoy conducting life-story interviews or otherwise listen to people talk about whatever they find worthy of sharing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am happy to meet up for a coffee, walk, drink, bike ride.
My couchsurfing experiences so far have been positive, interesting and entertaining, and I've learned a great deal about people and myself.
People and human behaviour, books, running, yoga, volunteering, food and cooking, traveling, ecology and environmental protection, farmers' markets, visiting new places, trying out new things and ending up in odd settings, international politics......

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: It's mood-dependent. From classical music to TV on the Radio, Rodriguez to Laurie Anderson, punk to DJ sets...
Most recently I saw a Danish film, Adam's Apples, which I liked, and a documentary, Cooking History, about military chefs. Fellini is a constant. I like The Office (UK version!), Yes Minister, Wonderland....
Most recent great books: My Oedipus Complex by Frank O'Connor, Washington Square by Henry James and a Hungarian collection of short stories, The Golden Gate by Vicram Seth and The Invisible Bridge by Julie Orringer (just reading it).
