About Me

ABOUT ME

In general I'm a calm person, a little introverted. I'm studying nutrition science and besides I'm working a lot but i like it. I'm a casual traveller who does it 1-2 times each year. Nothing extraordinary here :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Too get a free place to stay and getting to know some nice people who can recommend venues and places and spend time with their guests.

Interests

Music. I play guitar/bass guitar in different bands since many years. Now I started piano lessons. Sports. I do running, swimming and bycicling. Nutrition! Are healthy foods really healthy in the long way? Does it make sense to think in groups like healthy and unhealthy foods? Why can't everybody loose weight no matter how hard they try? Can you resist your genetic determinition and fetal programming? :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music wich is strong, that soaks you up like techno in a club or heavy post rock as mogwai does. I like music wich has something to tell and makes you really listen to it like classical and modern piano works or string quartets. I like music that makes you feel something good and builds you up like great post rock songs (Ef first album, Mogwai, Mono) I like music you don't have to listen to, e.g. Ambient as Brian Eno or Kiln does. Im a big fan of Tool, Puscifer & A Perfect Circle.

My next concerts will be Nils Frahm & Bohren & der Club of Gore.

Most time i watch entertaining movies with story telling. Sometimes there are extraordinary films like creepy cronenberg (Crash! ) or jodorowsky films i watch but don't like. Monty Python! The last film wich impressed me for a long time was 12 angry men. I used to visit my local video library several times a week.

I dont spent much time reading . Latest books were from Hermann Hesse, Douglas Adams & T.C. Boyle. I can't read at home. for me reading books is connected to certain situation like going by train, waiting in public, spending time outside in the sun etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving food and water to immigrant people who really needed it. They were so happy! I had long hair and they thought jesus brought them food.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you something for guitar & bass or music theory in general and give you advices for meat-free cuisine and some insights in nutrition physiology.
