About Me

Side note: I'm on Erasmus now, so can't really host.

I spend my days trying to learn too many languages at the same time, hopeless searching for pálinka by the Polish coast and checking what's hidden around every corner. Especially around corners of ruined abandoned buildings. I'm not a fan of fancy modern places in general and can't find them very much special. Unlike lovely post-soviet train stations, wooden cottages or little glades among the deep forest. And a tent put by some nice lake seems much better than a five-star hotel. That's why (besides having a student budget .-. ) I think there's much more fun with low-cost traveling.

I consider Hungarian and Icelandic as the most beautiful languages in the world. Pleaaase teach me if you know some!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore. That's very simple. I just like to meet new people, who can share their points of view, because everyone has something interesting to tell. Both Couchsurfing and hitchhiking are nice ways to experience places "from inside".

I'm on couchsurfing since summer 2016, when travelled around Norway and Finland together with my friend. Unfortunately I had to create the new account because of some troubles with email confirmation.

Music, Movies, and Books

In love with Jari Mäenpää and all his work. Forever.

Other things to love are movies of Aleksei Balabanov and icelandic productions on the other hand. Recently I've started to explore finnish cinema and found out that Aki Kaurismäki has great sense of esthetic that I totally share.

When it comes to books, well, I read a lot, but can't define any gendre as my favourite one. Though there is one book, that I always have in my heart. Ray Bradbury's 'Fahrenheit 451'. Read it. Seriously

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I've tasted salmiakki Koskenkorva. And survived.

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages! The weirder the better. I have some strange affection to finno-ugric ones, though learning something in every possible language will be cool.

In exchange, I can offer some polish, unless you're afraid of too many consonants in every single word.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Malta, Norway, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland
