About Me

My name is Marta and I’m a visual artist! I paint, I weave, I make ceramics... my home is very artistic and creativity is my life. I live with my dog Lana.
I am back in my hometown, Málaga, after 5/6 years living and studying abroad and travelling. Although it’s very nice to be back home, I miss the feeling of meeting new people from different cultures and learning from them. Since I have been hosted by so many beautiful humans during my travels, I felt it’s my time to return such generosity!
I would like to host people who are genuinely interested in sharing an experience with a local, not simply have a place to crash. Having said that, I’m also very independent, so please don’t expect to spend 24hrs together. I will love to share time at some points
of the day, but it’s important for me that you also plan your trip independently. I am vegetarian, I don’t smoke and I like to live a calm, simple life :)

I host maximum for 2 nights because I work from home and I need time to myself to make my art 🙏🏼 Let me know why you’d like to stay at my place and i’ll reply as soon as I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I really love CS for its communitarian and social values.

I believe it's so enriching to get involved in the culture and meet the real people of the places we visit! Without CS I wouldn't have met some amazing locals and I wouldn't have had a genuine experience of what it's like to live in a certain place! I always left with my heart full, shocked at how nice some people can be...

Now that I'm back home, I find myself constantly dreaming of foreign lands. So I thought, why not generate at home the same experience as when I'm travelling?!

I love to make art, talk, listen, read, write, travel, eat, cook, laugh, practice yoga, meditate, surf, swim, cycle...
