I'm a curious and open economics student expanding beyond the major and discovering the variety of lifestyles around the world.
Each person has something interesting about them -- sometimes its fabulously easy to discover, but sometimes it requires more work -- but its always worth at least a conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've met up with a few couchsurfers and have surfed before-- I love the natural conversations about each person's experience that arise when two people of different cultures meet! With each new couchsurfing experience, I'm always amazed at how easily I feel comfortable with a person I had known for only a few hours. The kindness and generosity that comes from these experiences is also refreshing.
So far, just hangouts (people who have shown me around new places) and one actual couchsurfing experience (although we had so much fun going out that I never actually had a chance to sleep before my flight!
Contemporary art, museums, international development, travelling, late night swims, long train rides, walks in the countryside. Cooking, hand crafts, and photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A two-week surfing trip into the Polish lake wilderness - we were a group of teenagers supervised by people only slightly older. We would sail all day then anchor on a small island or at a port. By the end of the trip, we had made a pretty big loop around the lake system "Mazury".
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to match each couchsurfing experience with the learning of a dish from the area that I'm visiting - kind of like creating a recipe book to match the map of my travels.
