“To believe all men honest is folly. To believe none is something worse.”
Take over the world and let everyone enjoy themselves
Well, let's ask my friends then!
I asked a very good friend of a friend, but one who I've never met in real-life yet (she's American), and she said: "I'd say you're very reliable, trustworthy, and generally kind. That's the impression I get from the hearsay and the rumors. XD"
One of my best friends said: "You make it I break it". I do have a tendency to break things (don't worry, generally not that of other people), which is what made me a remarkably good game tester a couple of years ago.
He followed up with "you're the one no one expects to find a BIG friend like you out of nowhere", which I also see in what my earlier friend said. I'm really really easy to be with, and if we have similar interests, a friendship can be easily forged. When I am in the opportunity to help someone, I always will, and I guess people like that in me.
A friend I've been working on game websites with for a couple of years told me I'm "a guy who takes care of things and doesn't give up." Yeah, that's definitely true. It's one part stubbornness, and one part simply trying to be the best I can.
As a guest, I'm very easy. If we've got similar interests, we can have a lot of fun. If we don't, I won't bother anyone and will just be gracious for the couch. As a host, probably similar. Whether you just want a place to crash while you do business or explore town, or want to hang out and learn more about Nijmegen and the Netherlands, my guest room door is open.
Work hard, relax hard. Take it easy, enjoy life and do your best to make the world pleasant for you and those you love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've got a relatively spacious home for just one person and a cat, so I thought, why not share this extra space with people who are looking for it. As it turns out, CouchSurfing can offer some great experiences and wonderful friendships.
Playing video games has been a life-long hobby; I first played Super Mario Bros. when I was only 4 years old, and I've made my profession in the video games industry. I also enjoy watching movies, everything from action to thriller to comedy, and you can always invite me to go go-karting or lasergaming, or visit a theme park. And when it's racing season, you can bet I'm watching Formula One.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As someone who doesn't give up easily, it's not uncommon for me to find myself in uncommon situations. One such situation was when I was on vacation with my family, and me and my brother had decided to go go-karting the next day. Little did we know that it was going to freeze that night, and it had turned the outdoor go-kart track into a bit of an ice rank. We considered not going, but where's the fun in that? So we went as planned, and me being me, I took the race kart I intended to (top speed of 120 kph). Let me tell you, when you're driving across a frozen race track with 120kph on slick tires, you experience a whole new definition of fear. But it was absolutely epic.
