I'm a 20 year old student at Oxford University, where I study politics, philosophy and economics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been hitchhiking and travelling through Europe over the summer and (without couchsurfing) I managed to get so many lifts and so much help from really kind people I didn't know. I'd like to pay back to the community!
Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite book is probably '100 years of solitude' by Gabriel-Garcia Marquez. I also like Milan Kundera a lot -- basically any book with a taste of philosophy. Oh, and Harry Potter.
Music: Just saw concerts with Tame Impala and James Blake, both of which I adore.
The most recent good film I saw was 'Brazil' - about a frightening, but still humorous dystopia. It was also very British and had a great, eerie theme song.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked for half a year as a teacher in my local primary school. Doesn't really sound amazing but I now really (really!) respect teachers! Also a great experience of how weird most children are :-)
