So I've been struck with a serious case of wanderlust!
This app was recommended to me by a fellow couch surfer who's been all over the world! So here I am giving it a go!
I'm a hula hoop dancer and I enjoy performing and going to festivals. I haven't been to too many yet, but I'm hoping that will change this summer!
I have a small chihuahua who would be accompanying me on my quest to see all that I can see. He is a 6 pound bundle of calming joy. Seriously, since I got him he's never barked when someone knocks on the door or he sees someone new. I found him on the streets of Ellensburg one cold fall day three years ago and he's really chill around anyone and other dogs. The only thing he will bark at is a cat... He doesn't like them very much, but big or little dogs he has no problem with.
I'm hoping to see a lot of the west and east coast i.e. Portland, California, New York etc.
I'm a pretty clean person and I don't mind doing some house chores like dishes, sweeping and taking out the garbage.
My cooking skills have slowly been improving and my signature dish is beans and rice, haha. My parents grew up in the rural mountains of Guerrero, Mexico and that's what they ate growing up, and so did me and my 5 older siblings.
Out of all five of us I'm the only one who came out a little bit more fabulous, haha.
I enjoy drinking, as most people my age do, and I can dance my ass off! My dance style ranges from middle aged dad to stripper who's rent is due tomorrow. So I'd be down to go out on the town with you for sure.
I'm pretty chill too and I enjoy chill nights in, with good people.
So yeah hopefully one day I can crash on your couch and explore your city!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been struck with a case of wanderlust and I'm feeling claustrophobic in my little town. I want to go have new experiences in new towns around the US and eventually the world! I'd love to check out some local festivals too!
I love animals. The pros of that are that I don't mind when you point out every dog you see to me and the cons are that I will point out every dog I see to you.
I volunteer at an exotic bird sanctuary so that's pretty awesome: being able to work with such cool animals.
Uh, like I said before, I hula hoop dance. I can do some pretty cool tricks and stuff with them. And I really love to dance. I wish I would've taken classes as a kid cause it'd help me out a lot now when I actually try to dance.
I read a lot. I really like romance novels and pretty much anything by Daniel Steel. Lol, don't judge me :)
I enjoy hiking, laying on the beach, trying out new things to eat or drink. And yeah, there's more, but I don't want to bore ya to death with my rambling.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are too many good ones to name, so I'll just name the last ones I've heard/seen/read.
Music: Selah Sue - Fyah Fyah
Movie: Interstellar, Starring hunky actor Mathew McConoghuey
Book: Daniel Quinn's, Ishmael
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I preformed No Business Like Show Business on 5th Avenue Theater's stage. In front of thousands of people while being recorder live.
Both the scariest and most exciting performance I've ever done!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn anything creative. Cooking, dance, art, etc. I can teach your how to hoop dance and I'm always willing to share my hoops. I can share my rad refried bean making skills with you and teach how to wrap the snuggest burrito ever! Haha. And if I have beer I'm always down to share that too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer you some bomb Mexican food, and good company! I can offer you spontaneity, laughter and, oh, did I mention Mexican food?? Ehh? Haha.
Also I don't mind taking out the garbage and doing dishes ;-)
