About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying my stay in Italy and preparing myself for the biggest advanture in my life - research doctorate in Sydney.

ABOUT ME

I think I'm a nice guy. I'm always trying to be positive and have a smile on my face. Life is too short to be worried about too much.

I'm a guy my friends can rely on and I like when someone can appriciate good sence of humore.

I know it is good to plan things, but I also like improvising when necessary, to be spontaneous a bit.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a game.

Never give up.

It doesn't matter where you've been, it only matters where you're going.

Life is like a book. Some chapters sad, some happy, and some exciting. But if you never turn the page, you will never know what the next chapter holds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't understand the question...

Participate in what? :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually, I have no CouchSurfing experiences at all. I found out about it just a few days ago and I'm so excited about this great apportunity to meet people from all around the world.

Interests

I have always been into sports and actually, I cannot imagine my life without it. I used to play ice-hockey for a profesional team when I was younger. But there are so many other sports I like to do, such as tennis (especially), footbal, swimming, skiing etc.

I have finished my master studies almost two years ago and because as currently, I'm a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Bergamo, Italy and Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, I should probably mention here that I spend quite a long time conducting a research (finance - credit risk).

I don't have to say I love traveling, of course. There some spectacular places I have already seen in my life, but still there are so many places in the world I would like to visit one day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: sort of movie fan, cannot choose just a few in particular

Music: Simple Plan, U2, Taylor Swift, Train, Foo Fighter, NIckelback

Books: Lincoln Rhyme stories by Jeffery Deaver

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most memorable experiences was probably an exhibition tennis match in Prague between former world No.1 Pete Sampras and Czech Radek Stepanek. Pete has been always my favourite sportsman and I was so happy I could have seen him live, even though that was just an exhibition and he was already retired.

If I should choose places I have enjoyed the most so far, I would choose Cork and London. I have spent a couple of days in both of them and I really liked their atmosphere. And I'm so looking forward to staying in Sydney. From the other point of view, I love austrian Alps. Skiing and landscapes are so beautiful there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be able to share my knowhow of living in Czech Republic such as culture, habits, history and behavior of local people.

And I would like to learn the similar things about the each country I will be lucky to visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Ireland, Italy, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia
