At this point in my life, I want to settle down, buy a house or apartment in a city, get a dog, plant a little garden and find a way to make enough money to get by. Then I will be able to host you all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a 1 room apartment and don't even have floor space now. But I hope to buy a house with lots of floor space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled in Mexico, Ireland, Europe and SE Asia(3 months) and stayed with friends of friends. I went to Thailand with with a Friendship Force group and have hosted Japanese teachers. Enjoyed it all.

Interests

ESL, middle school math, wooden sailboats, vegetable and herb gardening, traveling, cooking, old time folk music and I am learning the ukelele.

I just saw the movie "Away we go". Recently read "The Master" by Colm Toibin. listening to Old time and Beatles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing I've done is to take my 20 foot, 2 ton Danish built wooden sailboat from Annapolis MD to Charleston SC by myself. It had a 1-1/2hp outboard and I sailed alot. It took me a long time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Good at Teaching English - especially beginners. Would like the tenacity to learn a new language myself. I've worked on boats. I would like to learn to work on houses. Play and sing a little. Like to draw.
