ABOUT ME
Hi,
We are Maru and Mako!
We're planning to travel 7 months (or why not more?) trough Europe, Oceania and Asia.
Our plan is to start in Germany next August (2014). We're willing to visit new places, but most of all to know different cultures and live new experiences.
To make this possible, we both quit our jobs (and Mako sold his car!) in order to free ourselves and travel unattached.
We are flexibe and easy going.
* I (maru) am a Murakami lover and Almodovar fan. I like Photography, Cooking and I am very interested in human rights.
* I (mako) love to read biographies and watch documentaries. I am curious about Business, Science and new inventions and trends that may change the way we understand life. I see myself as a future writer and want to give me time to explore this side of me.
PHILOSOPHY
- Travelling as a way of self-discovery
- Doing what you love no matter if it involves taking risks
- We are against violence and clocks

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although we've never done Couchsurfing through the website we both have different experiences with other travellers! :)
Maru - I worked in a hostel in Montevideo and Punta del Diablo(a seaside village in Uruguay) and went to a CISV summercamp. The best of this experiences was the constant exchange with different cultures.
Mako - Ive been an active AIESEC member for one year and been in charge of finding work opportunities for international members. I really enjoyed meeting people from all around the world and sharing experiences together.

Music, Movies, and Books
"...I know that through travel I have possessed the world more completely, more satisfyingly than if I had acquired the whole earth by purchase or by conquest. There is no implication of selfishness in the kind of possession of which I speak. Whoever possesses the world through travel takes nought from any man. No one is the poorer because you have made the whole world yours.
You have gained everything, but you are no monopolist. The wealth is there for all to share. It is not yours alone. You may invite all men and women to travel with you in imagination and they too may feel that they, like you, are rich in vivid mental pictures of places worth going to, of people worth knowing, of things that are world famous."
