Wants to Meet Up

Update: Now I finally did it: Quit my job, my flat, stuffed my belongings in a backpack, and hit the road. Let's see where it takes me.
This also means I can't offer you a couch, sorry. But I am always up for nice Chats and meetups.
So, what could be interesting to decide if you want to surf with me or not?
Of course I am narrow-minded, I don't like to meet people and I hate to travel. That's why I am on Couchsurfing, right?
Beside, I think I am a pretty regular guy, layed back and don't take myself and life too seriously.
To fulfil some German cliches: I like beer, sausages, watching soccer (even so I don't support a specific team), and I am strict about arriving on time.
I enjoy the simple things in life like being outside in nature, laying in the grass and watching the sky while discussing about life, the universe and everything. I also recently started to do some workout again after a long time, but just finding myself back at beginners level.
On the other hand, I am not really the partying/clubbing guy. So if you are looking for a someone to dance the night away in fancy nightclubs, I may not be your best company.
And I am open and curious to try and see new things. So, if you have an idea or hobby that you think could broaden my horizon: Let's go for it!
I am also interested in sustainable lifestyle, organic gardening, permaculture and the like. A kind of dream is to just stuff everything in my backpack, leaving the rest behind, and travel around visiting ecovillages and communities in different countries, meeting people, learning new things, and maybe even setteling down if it feels right.
Since cooking seems to be a big deal here:
I am one of the worst cooks in Germany. So please don't ask me to cook a typical dish for you, you would get sick and I would be ashamed. I can rather bring you some German sweets or beer as a present.
However, I don't mind cooking together, as long as you take the lead and I keep cutting the onions, peeling potatoes...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started my CS career with a few trips in Germany. Thanks to these hosts who let me in without references.
After I moved to Frankfurt (and therefor a region with an active community and travellers comming) I also had the chance to host travellers, often last minute/emergency requests, and take part in (or organize) small meetings/events.
Meeting different people from so many countries really enriched life, since everyone brings his/her own experiences, stories, views on life...
And beside some very few unlovely experiences I think signing up here almost 5 years ago was one of my best decissions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking up the "Zugspitze", the highest montain in Germany. 2200 meters of hight in one day. I had blisters for weeks, but it was a great experience anyway...
Spending 3 weeks in an ecovillage in rural Portugal. No TV, no WiFi, not even a water flushed toilet. Just nature and really amazing people.
And just recently: Quit my job and flat to go for a backpacking adventure trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
Mh, you could read above what my life is about. If you are interested in this, I will be happy to share my experiences.
