About Me

I graduated university with a highly interesting (but utterly useless) degree in sociology & philosophy, before disappearing off to live in Seoul. After two years there I eventually fulfilled my dream of moving to Japan. I now live in central Tokyo, lost in translation.

I receive a lot of requests these days, though I only wish to accept maybe one or two couch requests each month. Please only send a request if you think we have some shared interests.
Feel free to message me if you'd just like to hang out rather than surf.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, more than to save money. I've hosted and been-hosted a few times.

Listening to music, playing guitar, sitting in the sun and reading books, watching films, eating great food, drinking nice drink, engaging in conversation, visiting museums and galleries, running, cycling, travelling..

What I Can Share With Hosts

I live in a really quaint and lovely suburb of Tokyo, but it's just 5mins from Ikebukuro and 20mins from Shinjuku. I have a quite large bedroom with shiny clean wooden flooring. I only have enough bedding for one person, so if there's two of you, you will need to bring sleeping bags, etc.

Countries I've Visited

Barbados, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Viet Nam

Countries I've Lived In

Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom
