I graduated university with a highly interesting but utterly useless degree in sociology & philosophy, before disappearing off to live in Seoul. After two years in South Korea I eventually fulfilled my dream of moving to Japan. I now live in central Tokyo, lost in translation.
I have been receiving an insane number of requests recently (around 1 person per day) when I only wish to accept around 1-2 couchsurfing requests a month. Please only send a request if you think we have some shared interests!
And feel extra free to message me if you'd just like to hang out/get a drink, rather than surf. After 2 years living here, I finally know where most of the best bars and clubs are!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, more than to save money. I've hosted and been-hosted a few times.
Listening to music, playing guitar, reading books, watching films, eating great food, drinking nice drink, engaging in conversation, visiting museums and galleries, running, cycling, travelling..
- scuba diving

What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a really quaint and lovely suburb of Tokyo, just 5mins from Ikebukuro and 20mins from Shinjuku. I have a quite large bedroom with shiny clean wooden flooring... but I do not have much bedding. If there's two of you, you will need to bring sleeping bags, etc.
