About Me

To host and and meet new people from around the world. I would like to travel someday and hopefully it will be soon!

Well, I just moved away from my Seattle home in which I had been living for 10 years!! I cycled, hiked, enjoyed the beaches, and worked in Pikes Market selling cheese:)However, it was time for me to move on. I now live in Brooklyn Heights, NY. Yes, I have made it to NY and am looking forward to making this my new home. I going to need plenty of time to figure out this city. As I'm sure you know, New York is a much larger city than Seattle. So, as of yet, I can't really say what I enjoy doing here because I haven't done anything yet, but I'll keep you posted:)

ALWAYS trust your intuition and ALWAYS keep and extra set of keys!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I helped a friend of mine once host a couple of students from Germany just making their way around the U.S. We went to a few pubs together and somehow ended up back at home playing scrabble; it's was a cold and rainy day:) Another time a woman from Portland came up to Seattle for hemp fest. We didn't attend hemp fest with her, but the day before we took her biking along Lake
Washington and went on a boat ride; it was a beautiful sunny day:)

I enjoy reading in German, I've learned a little and am trying to keep it fresh; cycling, although I sold my bike when I moved to NY.. need a new one:); Yoga; AcroYoga; Boardgames like scrabble, chess, backgammon, and grabble, crossword puzzles, puzzles on my Android, and yes I meant to spell it 'grabble':) I'm not very competitive, but I still enjoy myself nonetheless.

Music, Movies, and Books

You lost me at read:) I certainly don't read as much as I did in my late teens/early twenties, but I've read some things. My favorite stories at that time were, The Bell Jar, Crime and Punishment, The Plague, and Metamorphosis, among other things. Now, if I do read, it'll be short German stories for the most part. I read the news.
