ABOUT ME

We love meeting new people and exploring new places. We're Americans transplanted in Bologna, Italy serving our great God working with university students. We love taking advantage of our easy travel location and jet setting on the weekends! We're very blessed to live in one of the most traveled countries in the world, and we love sharing our historic city with visitors from near and far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We surfed once in the states (with an old, forgotten account) last minute for a wedding trip. We're excited to surf more with our new post in Europe as well as host, when our job allows!

Interests

When we're not busy working with university students in Bologna, we're hammocking in the park, walking our 4kg dog Bear, playing FIFA, crafting home decor, and snagging a caffe or pizza with friends. Mary loves to travel, and Alex loves to humor his wife. Our 22 month old Finn keeps us on our toes, but is a superb traveler and a social butterfly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our international move to a place Mary had never been definitely left us awestruck.

Having a baby on our sofa was fairly exhilarating.

Marriage and a life serving God continues to be pretty spectacular.
