I came to Australia when I was 12 from Kazakhstan, and lived in Melbourne until mid-2020 when I decided it was time to relocate. I have now been on the Sunny Coast for 7 months and am getting itchy feet again. I am planning on spending 2021 traveling all around Aus and living in different places since I can’t go overseas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a strong desire to not be comfortable at any one place and see as many things as I can, so I joined Couchsurfing so I can meet new friends and explore my own backyard. I want to 2021 to be the year of uncomfortable.

Interests

I like to keep active, so yoga and hiking comes to mind. My main interest would probably be travel though and seeing new places. But I find many things interesting, and I love to learn about things I don’t know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all music, something for every mood, and something to dance to. I love all movies, action, romance, comedy or Disney, you name it. Something to switch my brain off. My top 3 books at the moment would be Tattooist of auschwitz series’s, show dog and normal people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories about my travels and a warm meal, I would like to stay with hosts who are happy to have a chat and learn about each other. Also someone who can recommend local travel spots or would like to explore them with me.
