About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty years old girl. I like to have fun, travel and also meeting people! I'm studiying illustration in Paris. I'm an easy living girl, and I'm kind, and people would say without a doubt that I'm very funny! (but only cause I'll bite them if they don't)

I'm from Toulouse, where my parents still live. My flat in Paris is rather small, I can host only one people. My current flatmate, Mado de la Quintinie has done a lot of couchsurfing, and we've already host a really cool canadian girl this year. But I won't be in Paris this summer, I can't host people, sorry!

Interests

.In fact I like a lot of stuff so many that it would take an hour to write them down so lets summarize I like Great Britain -don't ask me why I don't really now, I like the mood certainly. I like to eat and discover new things, and I like Doctor Who, Illustration and Beer (I like that a lot actually!)

If you like comic books, illustration and beer, you can go check my tumblr yay! mathildejr.tumblr.com
(but only if you like these things. If you don't, don't click. I see you. Huhu.)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love going to cinema. Love the atmosphere, specially in little "art et essai" cinemas, which are most of the time amazing places (like the Utopia in Toulouse). I like all kind of movies, and series. Could be giants robots versus monsters (Pacific Rim), Takeshi Kitano or Satoshi Kon's movies, or Oldboy (the real one), Tamara Drewe, Moonrise Kingdom, La Cité de la Peur (very VERY french movie haha), the Cornetto Trilogy, Scott Pilgrim or The We and the I. And perhaps that will be enough.
I'll be quicker on series. Firefly, True Detective, Dr Who(and a lot more but let's talk about that irl with a beer)

I'm french with an awful english, but I try to read in english every morning in the underground to improve myself. Nation, by Terry Pratchett was my first attempt (and it was successful, I laugh as much as I do with the french translation). I'm currently reading His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman (it was a very important book in my childhood, and I'm really glad to read it in the original version)

I aslo like Douglas Adams, Tolkien, Asimov, Daniel Pennac, Lovecraft, Barjavel and A LOT of comic books (mostly french bande-dessinées, but I love mangas and comics too)
Let's do another list. Portugal by Cyril Pedrosa, Lewis Trondheim's books (ALL of them), Watchmen, Batling Boy, Amer Beton, Habibi, Kililana Song, Moebius's books and more.

Er, reading this description I look a bit nerd haha. Don't worry, I'm open-minded, I can watch, read and listen a lot of stuff!
