ABOUT ME

photographer/woodworker/painter/handyperson/baker of cakes/spectator.
Currently live in Flensburg and am in the process of packing up all my belongings for my big move to South Australia in october. I aim to build a gypsy-style camper on top of a pick-up and live on the road for at least a year before I settle down again. maybe. or maybe I'll get hooked and never want to live in a proper house again...
I am not a party animal, but occasionally do go out. Lately, I have been quite a couch potatoe, it's probably the age...or just a phase. But I've always prefered a quiet night in with friends, a good meal, good conversation and maybe a good movie to overcrowded pubs and clubs.

PHILOSOPHY

At this stage in my life, I want to downsize. Packing all my belongings into boxes to be shipped to Australia has taught me that all these things are really unnecessary and just cluttering up my spirit. So I gave a big chunk of it all away. Unfortunately, there's still a lot left.
I want to live in a more conscious way, caring more about myself and the environment. Everything in Europe is about "higher-faster-better", no wonder there's burnt out people everywhere. I don't want to be part of them.
I dream about living in a little gypsy wagon, with no electricity (or maybe solar), and being a slow explorer. Let's see how it goes...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty good with crafty stuff (except knitting), but can be a bad teacher if you don't catch on fast enough....I'll give my best though.
I am also good at fixing things, being a joiner by trade. Or I can show you some stuff about photography.
I'd love to learn about mechanics, welding, organic farming and gardening.
