I'm a photographer from Tallahassee, Fl. I worked full time for the last year for 3 different magazines and it completely destroyed my whole love of the craft, to be honest. I left that job and I'm heading out on the road to meet genuine people and document it all in hopes of falling back in love with it. Cliche? Yeah, but I guess it happens for a reason, right?
I'm also meeting with some rad organizations along the way to have some important discussions on current social issues that I've got an interest in. Should be pretty cool.

Other than that, I'm a genuinely curious dude and I love talking to people, telling my stories and hearing theirs. Everyone has interesting stories and different ways of living and I just want to experience it all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to be road tripping the country on a photojournalistic journey on a super tight budget. Staying at hotels is completely unrealistic, and I'd much rather meet people and have late night conversations with strangers outside of a bar setting.
Plus, this whole couch surfing thing seems really awesome.

I listen to a lot of music, I watch a lot of documentaries, and I unfortunately do not read books. Magazines and Internet articles are a different story altogether.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a few pretty awesome things in my day...
Toured with various rock bands, big & small, for most of my 20's.
Road tripped the country for 3 months with an old roommate.
Backpacked Europe for a month
Moved to Fl from NY at 19 and completely restarted my life.
Etcetera and so on&so forth

Teach, Learn, Share

I may have to come back to the teaching part, as I'm drawing a blank currently.
As far as learning, I want to learn as much I can from people, really. Part of the idea behind my trip is to spend time with people doing cool things and just kind of shadow along, taking photographs of the journey.
Sharing; I wanna share cool experiences with new people outside of the typical people I spend time with in my hometown. I want to experience as much as I can, really.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've got stories for days from life on the road, as well as just the chaotic nature of a lot of my past experiences.
There's a story behind just about all of my photographs and I love sharing those.

I'm also planning to bring along supplies to make spaghetti dinners, so if you let me use your stove, I'll gladly share my food! We can Lady & the Tramp or we can eat off separate plates; your house, your rules. :)
