About Me

Hi there,

I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour, and have been saving money to travel around the world, meet new people, and make new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my experience with traveling, it very easy to stay in a hostel and not get the true experience of a city. I am hoping that with Couchsurfing I will be able to make friends and get a true taste of what the culture is like at my next destination. Hopefully I can bring some new experiences, great company and positive energy to those I am staying with as well.

Interests

I am very interested in neuroscience and mental health research, which I studied in university. I hope to end up in this career field one day.

One of my biggest passions is music, specifically electronic dance music culture. Practicing DJing, going out to see new DJ's, meeting new people on the dancefloor and discovering new tracks.

I also love animals and nature, and work part-time looking after dogs at a daycare.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical tastes lie all along the spectrum of techno and house. Some of my favourite DJs are Mano le Tough, Midland, Roman Flügel, Clouds, Lucy, Jimmy Edgar, Guy J, Max Graef, Frits Wentink, and Rødhåd.

Some of my favourite films are Enter the Void, Human Traffic, 28 Days Later, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Gwoemul (The Host), and Under the Skin.

I like to read old Stephen King classics, non-fiction books about the brain, and graphic novels such as Black Hole by Charles Burns.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things to me are meeting new, open-minded and fun people when I am out dancing.

My favourite place I have traveled is to the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador which was incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am hoping for somebody to help me with my goal of learning German, and possibly somebody who I could learn more about DJing and electronic music production with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, thought-provoking discussion, great cooking, and a fun companion to hang out with.
