Live. Love. Learn. Pass it on.
When I read my past autobiographies they seem dated and inaccurate even a month later. Here's what I hope doesn't ever change in my life:
My inseparable family - wife, sister, bro-in-law, niece, nephew, parents and cousins.
My love of music, dancing, theatre, and trampoline.
My hunger for knowledge and passion for learning.
My commitment to social & environmental justice.
A few good friends to keep me sane and honest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Nothing at present, though my couch is often occupied with non community members :)
So far, most of my couch surfing experiences have been unaffiliated with CouchSurfing proper. I've called couches as near as Scarborough, Canada and as distant as Narok, Kenya home at one time or another. Thankfully every time has been a fabulous experience and I'd like to pass that on to others while I can.
Love to: sing, bounce, play, ride.
Like to: read, act, swim.
Would like if I could afford: skydive, base jump, bungee jump, kitesurf, dirt bike, freestyle ski.
- performing arts
- bungee jumping
- social justice
- climate change

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting a dear friend in Kampala, Uganda in 2007 when the Mabira Riots broke out. A sobering day literally caught in the crossfire. Amazing isn't really the right word to describe it, but shocking and memorable yes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to shoot pool, speak kiswahili, sing opera and perform a standing back flip, but it might take longer than a night or two on my couch.
I very much enjoy hearing philosophies of politics, religion, environmental degradation. If ideas aren't exchanged, how will anything change? Ignorance is bliss only for the privileged!
