About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel up the east coast of Kauai, see the natural splendor, and meet some amazing people along the way.
ABOUT ME
In college I traveled around the continental US in a band with a few friends of mine. It sort of wetted my appetite for travel and meeting people. After college I'd moved to France with my girlfriend where we lived for 4 months. She got a job stateside as a community organizer in Louisville, KY. I then started working as an ecologist studying endangered bats and freshwater resources. After a couple years we moved to Kansas City, MO to be closer to family. In March this year we will be heading to Kauai to organic farm and we have 10 days to travel up the east coast and experience everything we can. I like playing guitar and drums, being generally active i.e. making things, hiking, biking, markets, etc, also like a good book, movie, tv show, or song, (I am a sucker for a good story).
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to try out staying with someone to see how it goes. I have heard a lot of really positive things about the people on the couchsurfing network from friends of mine and wanted to try it out. If it goes well, once I get settled in to my next placed I'd like to give hosting a go.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far, but am excited to gain a little.
Interests
I am going to have to be vague here for time. Music, Food, Film, TED Talks, the human experience, and the non human experience. Ecology, spec., along with most sciences.
