Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To learn about other people and the worlds in which they live. A recent trip to paint street murals in Chile and Argentina inspired me to try and travel on a more ground-up level.
Art, history, baseball, sport and games in general, early music, folk music, most music. I like to draw comics, collage, and hike in my free time.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical tastes are adventurous and range genres and history, if sometimes at the expense of great depth. A recent travel mix included Lightnin' Hopkins, Goat, Eartha Kitt , and Jordi Savall's las folías de españa.
I recently watched David Lynch's Lost Highway at a theatre in Santiago and Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca at one in Valparaiso, Chile.
I'm currently reading Sigrid Undset's Kristin Lavransdatter and Paul Kingsnorth's The Wake. I enjoy reading about history, art, and culture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2015, I painted a mural at the bottom of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
