Overview
About Me
I'm a linguistics student in Melbourne. I work part-time in retail. I like travelling and partying, much like many other people. Spent a year overseas in Berlin and now I have zero desire to work or be serious. You'll see me reading books about obscure aspects of long-dead languages and/or clubbing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The summer is here, the pot plants are dying and our house has just found a new couch, so that means it could potentially be time to open up the door to strangers! I also travel and actually like meeting strangers in new cities, couchsurfing = much fun.
Interests
Reading, languages (!), politics. Love grammar and - omg - language politics. I can actually hold serious conversation when it comes to that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to anything. My favourite movies are Muriel's Wedding and Heathers. The Kindly Ones was a rollercoaster ride, Johnno and Simon and the Oaks also play a role. Classics are great but trash literature is fine too. Can't handle Goethe or Günter Grass though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a degree in art history and classical languages/history. I have a diploma in German and am finishing a diploma in linguistics. I like it when people feed me trivia, I'll happily shoot some right back
