À propos de moi

First of all I like breakfast talks about nearly everything - an evening talks, too ;-) In the evening talking an playing card or board games...

I am a father of two girls aged 9 and 11 living with me every second week. So I travel alone or with my kids to get to know other european countries and the people. But we just started...

I am member of the Ost-West-Forum Gödelitz e.V. originally founded to help growing close East and West-Germany. Now we try to connect people within Europe. For example with biographical talk weekends, where for example polish people meet Germans, refugees meet locals and talk about their lifes. The format has even been shipped to Korea sucessfully to connect North and South. So I am political intrested in the future of a real european community. Therefore as a teacher at a vocational school I want to establish student exchanges too - you're welcome!

I registered at Couchsurfing in 2015 but at the end I often went by tent or hostel - perhaps because I am very spontanious...but I like the idea still an want to revive the thing perhaps with my kids too.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because I like the idea of a great european community, but you have to get to know each other to grow more close across the frontiers. Therefore meeting people and getting to know their way of life is most important.

I met a guy from poland on a hiking trip, he was walking the Jakobs-Way next to my city. We had a great day together and he sent me postcards from his tour. He didn't make it to Santiago de Compostella so, because of his feed - a little bit sad.

In addition to that I like to get hints by locals concerning food and culture.
