ABOUT ME

33 years old, from Holland, adventurous, open-minded, up for a challenge and eager to meet new people and see different places. Easygoing actually, trying to be a humble guest to homes and cultures. I have a special background too, I am born in Indonesia and adopted into a nice dutch family when I was still a baby. So I have always been internationally minded, with a sister born in Brazille and a younger brother and sister from Sri Lanka.
I am planning on moving to Brno Czech Republic. Western Europe is my playground, however slavic countries languages and cultures are a whole new ballgame to me. But hey,then again, what's life without some proper challenges?

PHILOSOPHY

There is a saying in Latin: "Quod licet Iovi non licet Bovi..." and there is a word in ancient Greek: "hybris"

Both remind me to enjoy life to the fullest, but to do it wisely....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically in order to get to know Brno it would be nice to see if I could stay with someone for the first period of time to show me around and assist me in getting used to the city and everyday life and all it's complications for a non czech speaking foreigner.
I trust CS as a very worthy initiative and I intend on behaving accordingly.
