I'm currently finishing up my degree in Graphic Design. Traveling is my absolute favorite thing to do. I love to meet new people while doing it so I try to use Couchsurfing or BeWelcome as much as possible.

My work mainly consists of working with dogs in many ways. I recently ended my job working in a spa of a dog hotel. Now I watch dogs and do freelance work for a living until I have a more stable living situation. I have been moving around a lot- school in Chicago, studying abroad in Dublin, then summers and summer classes in Minnesota. After finishing my degree I will be moving to LA for awhile to do some work out there. This consistent moving has been a lot of fun!

When traveling and meeting new people I tend to like to have as much conversation as the other person(s) is willing to have. The best way to get to know someone is to hear the stories they wish to share! Storytelling is definitely my favorite past time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couch surfing a few years ago when I went on a trip with a friend to the west coast (I had to make a new profile because I couldn't remember my login information). We were lucky enough to stay with two different people and it was perfect!

Recently, I have been using BeWelcome. I was traveling around Europe with my boyfriend and we were able to meet some really cool people this way.

I have found these sites to give you more than a hotel or hostel can give. This way you get to meet locals, see how they live, learn so much more information from hosts than you would in different accommodations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music for the most part, with the exception of most country music (not all, but most!).

A lot of EDM and indie for the most part right now.

Movies would be too long of a listen. Any good quality story is something that I am going to like. Even the goofy, slapstick movies are my thing. Horror, comedy, drama, its all great.

I like reading though I don't do it nearly enough. Most books that I pick up are documentary, memoirs, and mystery. Some stand out ones have been:
