Build and expand my network of friends around the world
Hi, my name is Matt. I am a recent college working in beautiful Monterey, CA! Prior to moving up to Monterey in January 2014, I went to school in San Luis Obispo and grew up in Orange County. I've been slowly moving up the California Coast the past few years...
I like to think I'm a pretty laid back guy. I enjoy eating well, working out, and, of course, travelling.
I hope to meet you soon!
"If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food, it's a plus for everybody. Open your mind, get up off the couch, move."

I enjoy hosting people
I hosted people while I was going to school in San Luis Obispo and was able to surf with a few people while I backpacked around Europe. All great experiences so far!
This is no easy task...I will say that photography is my biggest hobby. You can see my photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattkawashima/
