ABOUT ME

Hi I´m Matt. I am a qualified teacher who is still learning. I can talk to anyone, I have a good sense of humor and I tend to see the best in people. When I meet new people I like to ask a lot of specific questions - i find specific questions yeild more particular answers and reveal more about individuals. I can be very spontaneous, I am good at meeting new people and i´m quite easy-going. I´m a good judge of character. About two months ago I had to shave my head, but its growing out now. I love good food - my brother is a chef and there's lots of cynicism to help raise the game - I also used to work in restaurants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot host and never have surfed but I did go to a couchsurfing party last week and met some wonderful people. I am keen to couch surf to meet interesting people and have some friends to talk to whilst in this cool city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch-surfed before, but have friends who hosted a lot in Dublin a few years ago, and others who've surfed. Everyone said it was awesome. Last week I happened on a party hosted by couch surf, and met some really good people.

Interests

I enjoy cooking (I have been missing spice in spain), reading, and good films. I am a fan of all sorts of music from jazz to hip-hop to house, and lyrical songwriters. I'm always happy to have a beer or few. I am creative and enjoy writing in various mediums, and at the moment the world cup is taking up a large amount of my interest.

hmmm. Yes, always. spinning out quotes and telling people about films and music and books, and hearing things i've never heard of from them. What to write here?
I'm a qualified english teacher so happy to talk in English for a language exchange - although i'd rather talk about philosophy or have a debate of some kind. I'd like to learn more about history.
