ABOUT ME

I'm a young, laid back person. I probably don't take life as serious as I should but I don't see that as a problem. I've work at the Department of Natural Resources on land and water quality projects for about three years now. Most trips I've taken have been to Colorado where I stay with all my Iowan friends whom have all moved there. I've been bored with life and am still in good shape to tackle big trips and meet awesome people. So it's time to get livin'.

Living in Iowa may hinder any cool interest I have but I enjoy activities outside like biking, biking/drinking (underrated), camping and hiking. I've found out you can be social and active in my late 20's so most the things I do are centered around that. That doesn't mean on a rainy day I can't sit around and watch all three Indiana Jones or two of the Lord of the Rings (3rd one is so long). I absolutely love going to concerts and festivals as well. I've been to most festivals around the midwest and tried out Bonnaroo a few times. I find the best festivals are small and family oriented ones. I like to dance so funk music is my scene but I can get down on most other types of music.

When it comes to books my selection would be considered nerdy. I like Sci-fi classics and epics. Dune, Lord of the rings, Hobbit, Gunslinger series, Harry Potter (yes I admittedly have a wand) and recently game of thrones a second time.
I fell in love with them when I was really sick a few years back. I can say I've seen over 200 of IMDB's top 250. Check out the list..it's pretty good.
Live music was/is an addiction of mine. I worked at a live music venue in college and would go there a lot when I wasn't working just to listen to music. I getting down to funk music the best though.
