Cardiff has a lively night life, live music, cool bars, real ale pubs and a few nightclubs. There's a free museum. An amazing castle. Dr Who stuff if you like that sort of thing.

It's also surrounded by incredible countryside with some spectacular coastlines a couple of hours away.
