Overview
About Me
I am a Dutch student studying Physics and living in Glasgow. I love travelling and haven't done it in some while, so hopefully I'll be able to benefit from Couchsurfing a bit! I have lived in the US for 9 years, but don't let my American accent fool you, I am still 100% Dutch and proud of it (despite not qualifying for the Europe Cup this year...)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I mentioned I love travelling, but these past years I have been focussed on my studies. I am planning on taking a gap year in 2017 so this is me preparing in advance. I believe that seeing sights and a city through locals is the only way of getting to know a culture or place. Hopefully I can show others sometime a bit about where I live (currently Glasgow, but in the future, who knows!)
Interests
I enjoy meeting new people, having a drink at a pub, seeing some sights and just relaxing with some music, a movie or playing my PS4.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love the new Radiohead Album. Other bands/artists I like are Tame Impala, James Blake, Kendrick Lamar and many more. As a physics students I really enjoyed Interstellar, but I also like movies such as the Pursuit of Happiness, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've landed a very pretty Greek Girlfriend, who some of you might meet!
Teach, Learn, Share
I personally enjoy teaching, I tutor many kids in physics and mathematics and believe to be pretty good at it. I am very interested in many things, from history to politics and from science to art.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully a good time overall. I'm not much of a cook unfortunately and Holland doesn't have very nice traditional meals, but I can share a pint or a dram of whisky any time!
