My name is Max, and I am living and studying in the awesome town of Göttingen, located exactly in the middle of Germany. I just spend one semester abroad in Denmark, where I met tons of interesting students from all over the world. Since part of my family comes from Norway, I am currently trying to learn Norwegian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the first place, I signed up because I currently plan a backpacking trip through nothern Norway. I guess, CS is the best opportunity to actually get to know the country one is traveling to, so I am very looking forward to make my first CS experiences soon!

Interests

I love to do a large variety of sports, especially Lacrosse, which is just an awesome sport! In the winter, I go snowboarding at least once a year and, when time and weather permits, also go cross-country skiing in the Harz Mountains near Göttingen. I like to listen to music on vinyl with my turntable and to go fishing whenever I am in Norway or Denmark.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is classic rock, but I also enjoy to listen to music from a lot of other genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A roadtrip from Helsinki to Lapland, including a lot of driving around there and a snowshoe-tour on which we almost got lost was totally amazing! Experiencing the nothern lights was of course also a highlight!
