Over the last months, traveling has become a big part of my life. While living in Germany thanks to a scholarship of the Heinz Kühn Foundation to become a multimedia journalist, I’ve been lucky enough to be able to put this passion of mine into practice. I think of myself as a friendly and open-minded person who likes to enjoy life for different perspectives: culture, walking around, hanging out with friends, doing sports. To sum up, I am respectful, active and sociable. I like to talk to people and learn from other experiences and recommendations. I am never pessimistic. I work in Marketing in Argentina but I also publish journalistic articles for Argentine and German media. These community is a key to meeting the locals from the people’s houses while traveling. I am an enthusiast and I do have some experiences that made couchsurfing a fantastic way to deeply enjoy a trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler, Couchsurfing helped me to meet the locals and learn more about a destination in a way others won’t. As a host, I could learn about other cultures while staying in nice homes and having the chance to make new friends around town. And as a community member, I could attend meetups and events with like-minded individuals. My heart is full of gratitude for the complete strangers and now friends who showed kindness and helped me get through my experiences on couchsurfing. I learned to trust my gut and have faith that, while the universe has its way of testing us, everything will work out in the end. Trust the path it pushes you on.
