I live in Łódź (Poland) in a flat with my three-legged cat called Druk. I'm joyful and optimistic person who enjoys a good company. Complexity and diversity of the world amaze me, so I want to learn about it as much as possible - by travelling, meeting new people and gaining as much life-experience as I can.

I just begin my adventure with CS. I want to check how it all works to be more encouraged.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started CouchSurfing, but my friends had great experiences, so I hope mine will be good too.

I love visiting museums and galleries, checking new exhibitions and historical places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: fantasy, sci-fi and anything with good plot.
Music: Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard, music from films, and inconsequent mix of titles and genres.
Books: again fantasy and sci-fi.

Well, those labels say nothing.
Now I'm reading and working on Jacek Dukaj, Polish sci-fi writer (I would call him a heir of Stanisław Lem) - I need it for my PhD. Then I want to read books of George R.R. Martin - now I watch "Game of Thrones" series based on his texts. I can't wait for "True Blood" aswell.

Teach, Learn, Share

My fields of professional interest are: art history, literature, anthropology and all trans- and inter-disciplines between those (like theory of literature, anthropology of art, art market).

I love to learn languages (I started learining several of them, but lack of time and motivation often disrupted the process) and new cooking recipes. I'm very curious abut other cultures and people, both their great heritage and very common life.
