Hi!

I am currently an exchange student from California studying in Toulouse, France. I want to immerse myself in different cultures and broaden my perspective on the world.

I'm a laid back and easy going kind of person who usually goes with the flow. I like traveling with no set itineraries (although I don't mind if there is one), and like to learn new things along the way.

I laugh a lot about everything and anything and I'm a HUGE sucker for big dogs.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and to learn about other people's culture. It allows travelers to get a first-hand experience from locals that some might not get from just traveling alone.

Interesses

I love the outdoors. I like to go hiking, long boarding on the beach strand, attempting to surf, exercising, yoga, and going on walks. I also enjoy playing soccer and beach volleyball.

But my interests are endless so I'm always up for an adventure!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I can't say I have one specific favorite movie, book, or music because I honestly like all genres.

I like books that are page turners, the ones that make you cry, and the ones take you to a whole different world. I love the feeling you get when you finish a book and can't tell if you're sad because the story ended or happy because you just experienced something that only the people who've read the book understands.

My go-to music is alternative/indie and my favorite band is Rise Against. However, I do enjoy reggae concerts in the summer, edm festivals, and even sitting at a nice jazz lounge. I grew up as a dancer(ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, and etc) so I've worked with various types of music that I've learned to appreciate and love!

I think I've done a lot of things that are amazing to me personally, but there is not one that stands out more than the other. I think that just means that the best is yet to come ;-)

I can teach you about life in California and what it's really like (not like the movies) or what I remember from living in Japan at a young age. I want to better my French, but I'm always up to learning new languages.
