About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Paying for daughters college, so then I can travel the world!

ABOUT ME

I am truly blessed to be the mother of two awesome young ladies. I have raised them on my own since they were a newborn and one year old. I am pretty independent. I have been a live in governess for private families for well over ten years. I taught my daughters alongside my other students. We are used to staying in other peoples homes because their home was our home. We have a servant spirit and love learning from other people. My daughters graduated early from home in 2006. They are both in college. I am still teaching.
My oldest daughter is Tara. She is PASSIONATE about social justice and peace. Tara is working on her three undergraduate degrees: International Studies with a Concentration in Sociology, and Theology, and French, and a minor in Politics and Economics. She is starting to look for a graduate program in Peace Studies or Diplomacy. She dreams of working for the United Nations, the Holy See, or possibly as a Foreign Service Officer. She spent last Fall semester abroad where she lived in Florence, Italy and she traveled all over Italy. Her Fall 07 Break was spent in Greece. She then studied in Paris for Winter Semester. Tara just completed a management internship this summer. She is looking forward to a month long mission trip to an orphanage in Mexico this Christmas break and trying to raise money to visit another orphanage in Belize next Spring Break.
My youngest daughter is Catherine. She is working on her three undergraduate degrees: Philosophy, Theology, and French. She is going to go to graduate school and get her Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies. She then plans to join the Air Force as an officer for a military career inside the intelligence world. Catherine is passionate about her country, the USA! She loves cryptography and does proofs for fun. She wishes she could afford more flying hours. She traveled abroad last Thanksgiving to Naples, Italy to visit her sister. They then traveled to Capri, Ischia, Paris and London. She looks forward to her semester abroad in France to complete her French degree and also to travel to Morocco to practice her Arabic.
The girls are officially seniors credit hour wise. But both have two more years to finish all their degrees. I am halfway finished paying for college bills:))))I look forward to paying off their undergraduate expenses. They have to pay to graduate school themselves. I dream of hopping on a boat and cruising around the world, Before I have two weddings to pay for:)

PHILOSOPHY

People always asked me how can I not have/own a place/home. I simply reminded them that their stuff was really not theirs, it was just on loan. You can't take it with you. We are blessed with what we have while we have it. I believe we should share what we are blessed with. I believe we are all blessed! Each of us are blessed with different unique gifts.
