Hello all! I am a 26 year old queer femme gemini writer. I am running away from Canadian winter's end for a couple weeks to get a change of scenery. I really love meeting new people and the conversations that follow. I'd love to spend time with some nice queers in a new city, and for them to show me around. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couchsurfing! Unfortunately I did not have a schedule that was conducive to couchsurfing (hosting or otherwise), but I am freeing myself from that and expanding, etc.

books: i read a lot. most recently i read the brief and wondrous life of oscar wao by junot diaz, dr zhivago by pasternak (finally), the orenda by joseph boyden, americanah by chimamanda ngozi adichie, assata shakur's biography & some literary theory on soviet poets (the latter being of a recurring theme in my reading).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i'm somewhat new to travelling, but a decade ago i went to nicaragua twice and it was bursting with beauty. volcanos, lakes, the ocean!

i've spent some time in a lot of place in canada. mountains, prairies, ontario farmland! such a beautiful country. looking forward to seeing what the states has to offer.

i seem to talk a lot about russian history. i can teach a little about that and i'd love to learn more. especially anything that can explain the recent crises in eastern europe.
