I love to travel, eat, listen to music, watch movies, eat, work out (necessary with all of the eating), read, make new friends, and much more. I hope someday to work in international social work to empower others whose lives have not been as easy.

I like pretty much all music but I really enjoy listening to Latin American reggaeton (which sounds a little random but makes sense if you spent 2 months in Argentina). I also like pop, jazz, hip hop, swing, classical, and more. As far as movies (and books too actually!) I typically enjoy comedies and dramas.

I am right now learning German as I work in a volunteer internship in a group home for children and adolescents who have behavioral challenges. Teaching math to an 8 year old in German as I simultaneously learn how to say numbers in German was not an easy task, but this patient young girl took the time to help me pronounce each and every one. And now I can count to 1000 so I'm basically fluent, right?
