ABOUT ME

I come from and am currently living in a small town called Maple Park. Before that I lived in Rochelle, Il for my job. And I was living in Summit County, Colorado for a few months learning to snowboard. I am dieing to travel and to meet others like-minded!!
After 3 years of directionless study at university I dropped out. I went skydiving for the first time, got hooked, and started working at the center. Since then I've met people from all over the world with tons of crazy stories of their adventures. I can't wait to get out of small town Illinois and make some of my stories of my own!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to travel around the states and meet locals.. I am also planning a trip to New Zealand and I want to couchsurf over there! I don't have a place to host at the moment, but if that changes I would love to host others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I know a few couchsurfers that have stayed with other surfers around the states. Last year my roommate, Stephanie, who has been a couchsurfer for a couple of years, hosted a few travelers in Summit County, Colorado. It was really fun meeting and hanging out with these guys from Arizona. I think this is a great way to meet locals while traveling and experience the culture in a way not usually offered.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

right now i'm listening to a lot of reggae, dubstep, chillstep, stereomood, fratmusic, and pandora. These are some bomb websites that satisfy my music needs. Books. hmm..at the moment i'm reading One Day by David Nicholls. I like Catch 22, the Shack, Just Do Something, Francine Rivers, and Mark Twain. Moviesss..I'm a movie junkie. A few of the tops: Italian Job, Juno, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Shaun of the Dead, Breakfast Club, The Departed, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to juggle. hah. I can also teach you some about skydiving.

I'm beginning to learn spannish. I'd love to learn to cook. I'm open to learn whatever I can!
