About Me

Give my fellow wanderers a place to rest their heads :)

I'm in my upper 20's now which means I'm having a sort of existential life crisis. Hah. Not really but being 27 really has been strange. And hard.

Anyway, I'm a really good friend, a lover of art, a maker of music, an eater of delicious foods... I can sometimes be brutally honest, which some people love and others do not.

Start with Imagination... if you can dream it, it can happen :)

Everybody has their baggage, so try not to judge. Listen and speak to others with an open mind and heart and you might be surprised that you find we're all a lot more alike than we are taught to believe...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used CS to travel around Central America in the winter of 09-10.
Now that I live in Boston and have a place of my own (with 3 other roommates ha), I'd like to host other CS'ers. I like talking with new people, but I enjoy my alone time a lot more these days, especially being busy with work, so although I probably won't show you around Boston and hang out a lot, I will gladly chill at my home when you're here, and give you a place to rest.

If you stay over a weekend, I'll totally show you some fun spots, though :)

Its been an awesome experience... I make sure to tell every good traveler I meet about this site.

Making music-- I love to sing, and collaborate with others-- I play piano and guitar. I am interested in experiencing new and different cultures and ways of life. I enjoy nature very much and cooking (and eating!) delicious food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love comedy.
I also like 60s, drug, African, classical, spiritual, foreign... culture (any of this applies to movies, music or books)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attended Obama's Inauguration with millions of other hopeful supporters... and didn't figure out my ride home until the night before I had to go back to school (yay craigslist rideshare!)

I had an amazing and fun road trip to California from Chicago with a few good friends of mine. The trip itself was kinda crazy and a little dangerous (driving through the Mojave Desert at 1 in the morning, after being up since 6am).

I've been to over half of the United States, and I truly think New Mexico is magical. The northern part, in the Taos Mountains... oh man, I could just die happy there.

Central America in general is simply amazing and beautiful. I can't wait to go back. I lived and volunteered on a farm on Lake Atitlan for a month... unlimited avocados and coffee... mmmm
