About Me

"pick a star on the dark horizon and follow the light"

I grew up here in Münster, which is located in the north-west of Germany and a lovely little town full of students and bikes. I studied in Freiburg (southern germany) for 2 years, then moved to Galway, Ireland, for about a year and a half to study and work abroad. I have since returned to my hometown where I'm currently working on finishing my degree in Transnational Studies - not always quite sure what that is and how it will ever be useful, but hopefully time will tell ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I currently have no room for people to stay. I'm always up for a tour of münster and a coffee though :)

When I lived in Galway, my housemates introduced me to couch-surfing, and we all regularly hosted travellers from all over the world. It was a lot of fun and I'd like to stay part of the community, even though I cannot host anyone right now.
Two years ago I had my first experiences as a surfer and it was great, I had wonderful hosts and tourguides and the experience made me hungry for more Couch Surfing trips!

I love traveling, getting to know places and people and languages. Living abroad was an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to wherever I'll end up next.
I also enjoy coffee, books, movies, spring, chocolate, cycling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings nerd, books and movies. Also a HUGE Disney fan.
I read all sorts of books and find it impossible to name favourites. In my bookshelf you'll find timeless classics like Oscar Wilde right above to the Hunger Games series, which is to say I just love reading, period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The colour explosion that is fall in Quebec, Canada

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be delighted to teach anyone who's interested some German. Apart from that, cycling lessons (for those who've never used a bike) are all I can offer ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Ireland
