ABOUT ME

Well, that's always the hard part.
I am 30 years old and I live in Stuttgart.
I am a student (Rhetoric and Literature) and I work for a political foundation.
I love travelling, meeting new people and seeing different places.
I would describe myself as a very open person who is interested in a lot of things and who is very open to new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't really have one. Trying to be as open minded as possible, learning from different kinds of people, avoiding prejudices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am quite new to this project but I am very much looking forward to meet some great people from all over the world. I think it is such a great way to not only see a country but to have some truly intense learning experiences which you would never have had without Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not surfed or hosted so far, but I am excited to do so! I try to participate in meetings and events whenever possible and have really enjoyed the meetings so far.

Interests

First of all I love travelling. Whenever I can I try to see new places and explore the world. I like spending time with my friends, going out, going for a drink or just sitting there and having conversations about anything. Occasionally I also like theatre, sometimes even opera - I am actually open to almost anything and I'll try everything at least once.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and I am very much interested in movies. I do not watch a lot of DVDs, but I love cinemas. I actually watch all kind of movies - depending on who I go to the movies with. Sometimes films you never thought you would like surprise you the most.
I also do like to read but in the last few months I did not have the time and patience to actually read books. If I had to name some authors it would be Gabriel Garcia Marquez or Paolo Coelho, but there are also so many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling in general - having seen so many great places and having met great people.
Snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef has definetely also been an awesome experience if I had to name one.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couldn't name anything specific. Not sure if it is necessary to share special knowledges anyway. I am curious on all people and their stories that I hopefully will be able to meet through Couchsurfing and I hope sharing experiences will be a mutual learning and teaching thing.
