Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm living in Reading, England and can offer only a small University accommodation room, but once I'll be back in Germany I would be willing to offer my couch to weary travellers :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None! I'm very much looking forward to making new experiences through couchsurfing!

Interests

I love reading and listening to music especially on record. I'm interested in history, mainly ancient and late medieval history and I also reconstruct historical clothing and take part in Living History events. I suppose I share that with most people on this platform: I love to travel, to see new places and meet the people who live there - often I've realised that travelling on your own is even better than in a group, because you're so much more open to everything around you. I also like to learn languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Without books and music my life would be a lot poorer. I mainly read German and English literature because I can read it in the original and I enjoy many authors from the 19th century up to contemporary literature.
I like to listen to all sorts of music from the 60s and 70s, over Britpop and Indie up to Metal...in almost any type of music there are some really good and some awful bands ^^
