About Me
Bonjour! I'm Melissa and I'm currently living in France to discover the wonderful French language and culture. It's simply fascinating how diverse and lively this country is!
I tend to be calm and balanced by nature and particularly enjoy finding my inner peace in nature. Simply strolling through the picturesque landscapes or enjoying the fresh air at a picnic in the park is like balm for the soul for me.
I'm super curious and love learning new things. Whether it's the subtle nuances of the French language or the history and art of this fascinating culture - my thirst for knowledge is insatiable.
In my free time, my favourite thing to do is to get outside and experience the beauty of nature. It's just so calming to hike in the mountains or relax by the riverside and listen to the birds singing.
I hope that my open and warm-hearted nature will also help me to make many new friends here in France. My love of nature, my curiosity for other cultures and my calm charisma make it easy for me to approach others and quickly take them to my heart. I am already looking forward to experiencing many unforgettable moments in this wonderful country! See you soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Iceland, I had the incredible good fortune of travelling the famous Golden Circle. It was an experience I will never forget. The landscapes and sights I discovered on this route were simply breathtaking.
My first stop was at Þingvellir National Park, where I hiked through the impressive Almannagjá Gorge and learnt about the historical significance of this place. It was fascinating to learn that this was the place where the first Icelandic parliament was founded in 930.
Next, I visited the Strokkur geyser in the Haukadalur geothermal area, marvelling at its powerful eruption with wide eyes. The idea of the earth bubbling and pulsating beneath my feet made me pause in awe.
My absolute highlight of the Golden Circle Tour was the Gullfoss waterfall. The sight of the powerful waterfall plunging into the depths and forming a rainbow over the canyon was simply overwhelming. It was as if nature was revealing all its beauty and majesty at once.
Travelling along the Golden Circle was an unforgettable journey full of magical moments and spectacular landscapes. I felt connected to nature and grateful for the opportunity to explore this wonderful island. Iceland captured my heart and will always have a special place in my memories.
